Terms of Service

By using any LoneStarOracle ("LSO") service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. What LSO Is

LoneStarOracle provides 31 AI-powered data APIs covering crypto risk, financial markets, weather signals, smart contract security, and more. Services are accessed via pay-per-query USDC micropayments on Base mainnet using the x402 protocol. No accounts or API keys are required.

LSO provides data and analysis — not financial, legal, or investment advice. Nothing returned by any LSO service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for decisions made using LSO data.

2. Payment Terms

• All payments are in USDC on Base mainnet via x402
• Payments are processed and settled on-chain — they are final and non-refundable
• Service prices are shown in the payment-required response for each endpoint
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with notice via @LsOracle_ai

3. $LSO Holder Discount Program

LSO token holders on Base mainnet are eligible for a 20% discount on all services. Full terms:

• Threshold: You must hold at least 500,000 $LSO tokens in your Base wallet
• Same wallet rule: The wallet holding $LSO must be the same wallet used to pay for services. No exceptions.
• Verification: Call https://discount.lonestaroracle.xyz/discount with your wallet address and a signed message to receive a 7-day discount JWT
• Renewal: JWTs expire after 7 days. Re-verification checks your live $LSO balance — if you have sold below the threshold, no new JWT is issued
• No grandfathering: Discount is only active while you hold the required tokens
• Usage: Present your JWT via the X-LSO-Discount header and declare your wallet via X-LSO-Wallet with each request

4. Service Availability

LSO services are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, response times, or uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to upstream data provider issues. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime or inaccurate data.

5. Data Accuracy

LSO aggregates data from third-party sources including GoPlus Security, financial data APIs, weather model providers, and public market data feeds. While we strive for accuracy, data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Always verify critical information independently before acting on it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit LSO payment mechanisms
• Use LSO data to build a competing data resale service without written permission
• Submit malicious inputs designed to cause system harm
• Automate requests in a manner that degrades service quality for other users

7. Smart Contract Audits

RattlerAI, CottonmouthAI, and CopperheadAI provide automated security analysis. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a professional security audit. We are not liable for vulnerabilities not detected or for losses arising from use of audit results.

8. Intellectual Property

LSO services, code, and branding are owned by LoneStarOracle. You may use data returned by our services in your own applications. You may not republish raw LSO output as your own data product without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoneStarOracle is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including but not limited to trading losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made based on our data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. Continued use of LSO services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via @LsOracle_ai.
